“CHAINED” is the debut short film by a young dynamic Ganesh Bhat from Bethesda, Maryland. We all love movies and the thirst for stories has never been greater at a time when the need for social and political engagement is obvious. With his maiden attempt in film making, the freshman director Mr. Bhat is trying to put emphasis on social cause which he thinks can have a positive impact on society and communities.
Mr. Bhat who penned the story and screenplay of “CHAINED” told Three Eye Visuals that he wants to tell this socially impacting story in a unique way. The shoot of the film is complete and the post production work is underway. Vigil Bose and Motti Tadmor are performing in lead roles in this new age short film.
Mr. Vigil told Three Eye Visuals that this film is a new awakening to him since 2002, which is when he last acted in American Dreams, a TV series directed by Shajiyem from Kerala, India. Vigil recently penned the story and directed his first maiden short film called “FALL”. His character name in the film “CHAINED” is called Thomas. “He said, the main challenge for him is to bring the character to life while being strapped to a chair through out the film”. The other leading character Mr. C in the film is being performed by Motti Tadmor. This duo cast short film will premiere later in the fall before it will be submitted to various film festivals.
